The goal of La Flor Mas Bella del Ejido is to showcase the diversity of the native women of Xochimilco and to preserve and highlight the origins of the people who still maintain their customs and traditions. Meanwhile, the United Nations and its member states are dedicating World Water Day to implementing UN recommendations and promoting concrete initiatives within their countries that aim to raise awareness about the importance of responsible and efficient use of water resources.
