People attend the Festa dos Tabuleiros (Festival of the trays) in Tomar, Portugal on July 9, 2023. The festival it's held every four years, is dedicated to the Holy Spirit and the tradition dates back at least to the 16th century, although its origin resides in the pagan rituals for the goddess Ceres. Girls from the different parishes of Tomar parade, helped from the sanme number of men, carrying the 'trays' adorned with colored paper flowers and bread for the streets of the city for a route of about 6 km. This years celebration had about 618 Tabuleiros participating and the city was visited from around 700.000 visitors.

The brotherhood of Health takes the step called ''Christ helped by the Cirineo'' with which they participate in the HolyFriday procession known as the procession of the Holy Burial, in which all the brotherhoods that make up Holy Week in Santander (Spain) participate ). This is the most important procession of Holy Week in Santander and runs through the center of the city for several hours.

A man with a head injury is helped by medical personnel after during clashes with riot police after violence erupted in Warsaw, Poland on November 11, 2020. Despite the intention of Independence Day march organizers to hold a parade solely by car several thousand people took part on foot. Onlhy minutes after the start of the traditional march participants calshed with riot police. Rioters threw glass bottles, flower pots and bricks at riot police who responded with pepper spray. An Empik bookstore was vandalised after a large shop window was broken and later rioters threw flares and other objects at an aparment nearby with a rainbow flag on it's balcony. An apartment beneath it caught fire damaging or destroying valuable art works by Polish painter Witkacy.
