Communist leaders of Nepal attend the unification announcement program of the ''Nepali Communist Party,'' which now merges with another party led by communist leader Bhim Rawal amid a ceremony in the capital, Kathmandu, Nepal, on November 12, 2025. Bhim Rawal, who leads the Matribhumi Jagaran Abhiyan after the CPN-UML takes action against him, stripping him of even ordinary membership, joins the Nepali Communist Party. A ceremony is held at the City Hall in Kathmandu to announce the unification between the Nepali Communist Party and Rawal's Matribhumi Jagaran Abhiyan. Nepali Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal, and leaders Jhala Nath Khanal, Bamdev Gautam, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, among others, take part in the unification ceremony. Coordinator Dahal and Rawal reach a seven-point agreement. The agreement is also signed by Co-coordinator Nepal, along with both leaders. It is agreed that Rawal will be the sixth-ranking leader in the Nepali Communist Party.
