Two men are shot inside a residence in the 7500 block of S. Calumet Avenue in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on May 25, 2025. On Sunday morning at approximately 6:02 AM, a 35-year-old man and a 31-year-old man are inside a residence when an unknown male suspect shoots them. The suspect flees on foot eastbound on 76th Street. The 35-year-old man sustains a gunshot wound to his arm and is transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition. The 31-year-old man sustains a gunshot wound to his back and two gunshot wounds to his right leg and is transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition. There is no suspect in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
