The large car carrier BYD Explorer 1 is being assisted by a tugboat at CIMC Raffles' Shandong Longkou construction base in Yantai, China, on January 9, 2024. The vessel, measuring 199.9 meters in length and with a load capacity of 7,000 vehicles, is using clean and environmentally friendly liquefied natural gas as its main fuel. It will assist China's new energy vehicles in accelerating their expansion overseas after it is put into use.
