Man reads a news paper with a front page story detailing the Indian Air Force's air strike across the Line of Control (LoC), near the international border with Pakistan; in Barpeta,Assam, India, on 27 February 2019. The Indian Air Force carried out air strikes with 12 Mirage jets, which dropped 1,000 kilogram bombs on an alleged terrorist camp across the Line of Control (LoC) near Pakistan. The air strikes occurred two weeks after a suicide bomber from the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed group detonated a car bomb next to a security convoy traveling in Pulwama, killing over 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldiers.
