Liz Shuler, the newly elected president of the AFL-CIO and first woman to hold the position, speaks during a voting rights protest on Capitol Hill. The rally was hosted by Fighting for Our Vote, a coalition of the ACLU, NAACP, and other organizations. Speakers included members and leadership of several unions, all of whom stressed the need to keep fighting for voting rights.
