Three hundred fifty enthusiastic young inventors from grades 1-10 from schools all over West Bengal are engaging in various fun STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) challenges. A Makers Loft initiative, Tinker Fest 2023, is featuring an array of STEM and Robotics projects from schools on the theme of Space. Aakash Byjus is jointly organizing the program at Science City in Kolkata, India, on November 24, 2023.

Phase 1 of the Covid-19 vaccination program at Mbagathi Hospital, in Nairobi, Kenya, on April 12, 2021. This first phase is allowed for teachers, health care workers, uniformed forces, administration personnal, religious instructors, clergy, and population with 58 years and above. This phase (and te vaccination program) started in march 9, and the vaccine they are using is the Indian variant of AstraZeneca, called Covishield.

Dozens of leaders and activists of JKLF were detained after Friday prayers by Indian police as they launched a nine-day campaign to fill prisons Jail Bharo program against choking political space and oppressive behavior and against the alleged restrictions imposed on them by the Indian government for carrying political activities in the disputed region of Kashmir. The resistance party also protested against Burma , Yangon and demanded an end the persecution and ill-treatment of the Rohingya Muslim community which the government does not recognize officially.
