On Tuesday evening at approximately 8:15 PM, police respond to Starlight Park in the Soundview neighborhood of the Bronx within the confines of the 43 Precinct. Upon arrival, police officers observe Darrell Harris with a gunshot wound to the head and the right arm. EMS responds and transports the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where he is pronounced dead. There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation is active and ongoing.
