Hong is emphasizing the need for further investigation into the truth, stating, ''Even after 500 days since the tragedy, the cause of the accident, the truth about that day, and proper punishment for those responsible have not been realized. Only now has a decision been made to indict the chief of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. It is truly devastating and disheartening.''
