The base is serving for the Hellenic Navy and NATO and the military war ship was docked there after participating in Neptune Strike 25 exercise in the Mediterranean sea. The HMS Prince of Wales aircraft carrier is a Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carrier vessel under the command of Captain Will Blackett carrying F-35B Lightning II stealth multirole fighter jets and Merlin helicopters.
