As per the preliminary estimate, the damage to these infrastructures stands somewhere near one trillion Nepali rupees. In a press conference held in Kathmandu, Nepal, on September 25, 2025, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Kulman Ghising publicly announces the establishment of a high-level committee and a dedicated fund to facilitate the reconstruction. The move aims to provide necessary financial resources for repair, rehabilitation, and economic restoration following widespread destruction.
