A young man stands at the Holocaust Memorial. The Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, or Holocaust Memorial for short, commemorates the approximately six million Jews who are murdered under the rule of Adolf Hitler and the National Socialists. The memorial, designed by Peter Eisenman, consists of 2,711 cuboid concrete stelae erected on an area of about 19,000 m2 south of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany, on September 29, 2022.

Demonstrators are carrying a banner reading ''Poles will never forget'' during the memory march for the victims of the Volhynia massacre in Warsaw, Poland, on July 11, 2024. A few hundred people, mostly members of nationalist groups, are marching in Warsaw to commemorate Poles murdered by the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) in Volhynia, Eastern Galicia, parts of Polesia, and the Lublin region from 1943 to 1945. The crowd is shouting anti-Ukrainian slogans and holding banners reading ''Stop Ukrainization of Poland'' and ''It is not our war'' amongst others.

A large truck commemorating the 30th anniversary of the 1984 massacre with the image of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale (a controversial figure in Indian history whom the Sikhs consider to be a great martyr and is regarded by others as a militant figure).There are other images of Sikh martyrs along with descriptions to commemorate the 1984 storming of the Golden Temple by the Indian army and to pay homage to the thousands of Sikhs who were killed in an apparent revenge attack instigated by members of the ruling Congress party and sparked by the assassination of the Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Canadian Sikhs commemorated the 30th anniversary of the 1984 massacres and attended this Nagar Kirtan to celebrate Vaisakhi in Malton, Ontario, Canada.

A large truck with the image of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale (a controversial figure in Indian history whom the Sikhs consider to be a great martyr and is regarded by others as a militant figure).There are other graphic images to commemorate the 1984 storming of the Golden Temple by the Indian army and to pay homage to the thousands of Sikhs who were killed in an apparent revenge attack instigated by members of the ruling Congress party and sparked by the assassination of the Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. During 'Operation Blue Star', the Indian Army stormed inside the Golden Temple to flush out militants hiding there and to arrest Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and his militant followers who had initiated a movement for a separate Sikh state named 'Khalistan'. A large number of the radical Sikh supporters are in the Sikh community in Canada which is known for its fundraising activities to benefit Sikh militant groups in India and to continue the struggle for a separate Sikh state. Many such Khalistan supporters and other Canadian Sikhs attended this Nagar Kirtan to celebrate Vaisakhi. Nagar Kirtan is a Sikh custom involving the processional singing of holy hymns throughout the community.
