A water bus with more than half a hundred passengers sank after being hit by a sand-laden bulkhead in the Buriganga river at Sadarghat in Dhaka, Bangladesh on July 16, 2023. Three bodies have been recovered in this incident. Apart from this, five people were rescued alive.
