This effort is part of a three million homes initiative by President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, set to begin in 2025. Deputy Minister of Housing, Fahri Hamzah, announces that two million homes will be built in rural areas and one million in urban areas, using confiscated land managed by the Attorney General's Office and the Land Bank Agency.
