The Santosh Mitra Square durga Puja Pandal visitor-free during Santosh Mitra Square, one of the oldest and popular Durga Durga Puja clubs in Kolkata, has decided ‘visitor-free’ this year. The club has decided that other than a few select members, no one will be allowed on the Puja premises. According to the organisers, they are being compelled to take this step due to the present Covid situation. In Kolkata, India on October 20, 2020. The Calcutta high court on Monday declared all Durga Puja mandaps in West Bengal “no entry zones” for visitors after treating the pandals as “containment zones” to stop crowding, which is feared to trigger the superspread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the state during the festive season.
