Rajya Sabha is the upper house of the Indian bicameral parliament, Sansad, and its members are elected every six years by the legislators. The Rajya Sabha elections are the first such polls held in Jammu and Kashmir following the August 5, 2025, abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35 A of the Indian constitution that accorded a semi-autonomous character to Jammu and Kashmir. The ruling National Conference wins 3 out of 4 seats while the Bharatiya Janata Party wins a single seat.
