The Tate Modern art gallery overlooks a near-deserted Millennium Bridge in London, England, on March 24, 2020. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson yesterday evening instigated an unprecedented UK 'lockdown' to combat the spread of the covid-19 coronavirus, instructing citizens not to leave their homes other than to buy essentials, for medical reasons and to provide care, to travel to and from work if 'absolutely necessary', and to exercise once a day.
