A shield bug also known as green vegetable bug or stink bug (Nezara viridula) walks on a carnivorous plant of the Venus flytrap species in Lincoln, New Zealand on February 11, 2022. Shield bugs are kind of pests who feed on a wide range of plants, including beans, corn and tomatoes, generally by sucking sap from the plants.
