Atalugama, a village some 40 kilometers south of the capital of Colombo was locked down after a confirmed COVID-19 patient was found after coming into contact with at least 26 persons, while nationwide curfew continues to be in place as a precaution against the spread of the disease, in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on March 28, 2020. Following the lockdown, two individuals - a father and daughter - who had come into contact with the confirmed case, were hospitalized by the authorities for further tests.
