They are emphasizing that the window to keep the temperature under +1.5?C is rapidly closing, as precised in the IPCC report, and are protesting the lack of action against the environmental crisis by governments. The motto of this year's protest in Toulouse is against concreting and for islands of freshness in summer in cities. Several collectives such as 'La Voie Est Libre' (against the planned A29 highway between Toulouse and Castres), 'No to the Rivel ZAC', XR, etc. are present, and the cardboard reads 'Fuck artificialization'.
