Holocaust surivors attend the 36th anniversary of 'International March of the Living' driving from the former Nazi-German Auschwitz Birkenau concentration and extermination camp in Oswiecim, Poland on May 6th, 2024. The annual march is a part of educational program, which brings Jewish students from around the world to Poland, where they explore the remnants of the Holocaust. Participants march silently three kilometers from Auschwitz I to Auschwitz II Birkenau, the largest Nazi concentration camp complex built during World War II.

The minister is embroiled in scandals, including enrolling her children in a private Catholic school that separates students by gender and allowing one of her children to bypass the mandatory 'Parcours Sup' process for admission to schools, colleges, or universities. Protesters are calling for her resignation, as Amelie Oudea-Castera has also authorized the funding of the private Stanislas school, where her children attend, with public money.
