Tokentrust Holdings Ltd, a company registered on the island, was among 15 entities and individuals sanctioned by the US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control. According to data published by OFAC, the declared address of Tokentrust Holdings Ltd is the location where the legal company "COSTAS TSIRIDES & CO LLC" is based. Cypriot Tokentrust Holdings Ltd came under sanctions because it is the main shareholder of the Russian company Atomaiz.
