Installation of the work Man in Andria in Piazza Catuma on 3 September 2021. "Man" is the title of a work by the Australian artist Amanda Parer who, with its 13 meters high by 13 meters in length, dominates Piazza Catuma in Andria until 5 September. An imposing light installation created on the occasion of the Festival of the Worlds and inspired by the famous bronze sculpture "The Thinker", created by the French Auguste Rodin in 1880 and kept in the museum that bears his name in Paris. It represents a man intent on deep meditation. A gigantic work that explores human frailty and invites reflection on our times and on the effects that the unrealistic and often harmful expectations of today's society have on the world. A planet inhabited by men by now overwhelmed and constantly striving to find solutions to problems that they themselves have created.
