Pierre Vauthier (Head of FAO Ukraine country office) inspects diesel generators provided by the Germany government during it handover ceremonies at a warehouse in Kyiv region, Ukraine, 9 January 2023, amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Members of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine together with the Embassy of Germany in Ukraine and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Ukraine officially visited the warehouse where delivered the first 10 diesel generators provided by the Germany government to support Ukrainian food producers with alternative sources of electricity. Aid is aimed at supporting the stabilization of the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, in particular, for the production of bread, milk, livestock products, providing electricity to storage warehouses, etc. Diesel generators will be provided to businesses located in war-torn areas and areas that have recently regained access.

After the deadly 2015 earthquake the factory reopened with the support of the government of Switzerland in rebuilding it. In the capital Kathmandu yak cheese is considered a delicacy. The produced Yak whole cheese, the wheel of cheese are aligned in a row and stored in a dry place in the storage room while the cheese production tools and a manual scale are in the other room.
