Sarkozy writes a 216-page book entitled "Diary of a Prisoner," released on December 10, 2025, and excerpts of which are published in several French media on December 6, 2025. Nicolas Sarkozy, who is President from 2007 to 2012, is protected in prison by two security officers and remains confined to his cell 23 hours a day, except for visiting hours.
