Ferenc Krausz is a Hungarian-born Austrian physicist who is awarded the 2023 Nobel Prize in Physics for his experiments with attosecond pulses of light at Kharkiv State University. Ferenc Krausz, a Hungarian-born scientist working in Germany, decides to donate his prize money to support Ukrainians affected by the war. Karazin National University of Kharkiv is completely destroyed by air strikes by the Russian military and will be evacuated to new premises.
