A small group pro-choice abortion rights activists gathered near City Hall on the east lawn of Sam Houston Park in Houston, Texas on July 20, 2023 to listen to speakers and recite chants in opposition of the reversal of federal and state reproductive rights for women. The group was joined by Dr. Bernard Rosenfeld, who's abortion clinic, Houston Women's Clinic, was forced to close after Texas Senate Bill 8 and the overturning of Roe v. Wade. The demonstration was organized by Louise Culbertson, who is traveling across Texas hosting numerous demonstrations she calls ''Post Roe Action.''
