A health worker injects a dose of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine made by Biofarma during a COVID-19 vaccination drive in Jakarta on 9 July 2021. Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria said the city has administered a total of 7,106,816 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine as of Friday, July 9. He said that the doses include those given as first and second shots. To achieve this goal, the provincial government is injecting no less than 100,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine per day.

Residents are near the ruins of houses destroyed by flash floods in the village of Oloboju, Sigi Regency, about 20 kilometers from the city of Palu, the provincial capital of Central Sulawesi, Indonesia on July 11, 2020. Flash floods that occurred on July 10, 2020, night due to heavy rains carrying mud and wood materials. Flash floods that often occur in the area swept the homes of residents and washed away goats and cattle and destroyed hundreds of hectares of agricultural land owned by residents. This flash flood is the umpteenth time it has happened in the district. Previously several other villages were also hit by the same disaster including mud floods that inundated a hospital in the area.
