21 January 2019

To be fulfilledon 21 January 2019 a week of the announcement of an increase in the minimum wage by the national president Nicolás Maduro. In Venezuela experts in Venezuelan economy and people criticize and suffer the consequences of these announcements, since the country is going through an economic depression, hyperinflation, scarcity, loss of purchasing power, fiscal deficit, a serious decrease in oil production, expropriation and confiscation of private businesses. Every day it becomes more difficult to mitigate the hunger of the people, since the 18,000 thousand sovereign bolivars monthly do not reach for two kilos of beef, biweekly for a kilo of cheese, and daily for a head of garlic or just two eggs.
