On November 16, 2025, in Mexico City, Mexico, Metro Line 1 fully reopens as part of the modernization of the Metro system. The line, which runs from Pantitlan to Observatorio stations, undergoes more than three years of renovations. According to Adrian Rubalcava, director of the Metro system, Line 1 has 39 trains, allowing for a 40-minute journey and serving 850,000 passengers daily.
