Miguel Angel Moratinos, the United Nations Under-Secretary-General and High Representative of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), is attending the EJA conference at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Krakow, Poland, on January 22, 2023. The conference, organized by the European Jewish Association, is taking place in Krakow on January 22-23 in connection with the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. This year's theme is 'Never Again: Lip Service or Deep Commitment?' and it focuses on the issue of anti-Semitism, which the association notes has been on the rise since October 7 due to the conflict in Palestine. On the second day, there are plans for delegations to visit the Auschwitz Concentration Camp and to hold a memorial ceremony.
