Following the news of the US invasion, the Socialist Workers' Movement (MST), the Left Front (FIT), and the International Socialist League (LIS) issue an urgent call to action for a demonstration in front of the US Embassy. The protest, scheduled for 3:00 PM, is organized under the slogan ''Yankees Out of Venezuela and Latin America.'' Spokespeople for the organizations state: ''We do not defend Maduro, but we categorically reject any direct US military intervention in our continent.'' January 3, 2026
