A stream runs beside Jinbu Civic Sports Park in Pyeongchang County, South Korea, on November 7, 2025, where the 2025 Pyeongchang Highland Kimchi Festival takes place. Launched in 2014, the festival promotes the quality of Pyeongchang's highland cabbage, preserves the UNESCO-listed kimjang tradition, and supports local farmers. Residents actively participate during the festival, creating jobs, and this year the event achieves record attendance with 60,000 visitors and 3 billion won in revenue.
