Several thousand people rally against a proposed EU migration scheme in Warsaw, Poland on 11 October, 2025. In a rally organized by the opposition Law and Justice (PiS) party thousands gathered to oppose the EU migration pact and an agriculture deal with Mercosur countries. Opponents of the Mercosur deal fear it will undermine the competitiveness of Polish farmers already under pressure from the EU Green Deal.

On the day of 'World Refugee Day', people across Europe commemorate the 44.000+ victims who died on European borders in the past years. On the beach of Scheveningen, in The Hague, on June 20th, 2021, a pop-up memorial monument was placed close to the sea to pay the last respect to the victims. The memorial monument consisted of 44.000 memorial signs out of wood sticking out of the sand on the beach with the names of the victims written on them.
