Nathalie Arthaud, spokeswoman and former presidential candidate for the Lutte Ouvriere party, was present at the demonstration as several thousand young people, employees and retirees rallied on June 6, 2023 to take part in the fourteenth day of demonstrations against pension reform in Paris. The new pension reform law, which has now come into force, raises the legal retirement age from 62 to 64. For the past six months, all the unions have been opposing the government's efforts to repeal the law.
