Lissachatina Fulica Is A Species Of Large Land Snail That Belongs To The Subfamily Achatininae Of The Family Achatinidae. It Is Also Known As The Giant African Land Snail. This Snail Species Has Been Considered A Significant Cause Of Pest Issues Around The World. Internationally, It Is The Most Frequently Occurring Invasive Species Of Snail. Outside Of Its Native Range, This Snail Thrives In Many Types Of Habitat In Areas With Mild Climates. It Feeds Voraciously And Is A Vector For Plant Pathogens, Causing Severe Damage To Agricultural Crops And Native Plants. This snail species is being considered a significant cause of pest issues around the world. Internationally, it is the most frequently occurring invasive species of snail. Outside of its native range, this snail is thriving in many types of habitat in areas with mild climates. It is feeding voraciously and is a vector for plant pathogens, causing severe damage to agricultural crops and native plants. It is competing with native snail taxa, is being a nuisance pest in urban areas, and is spreading human disease. The species is native to East Africa but is being widely introduced to other parts of the world through the pet trade, as a food resource, and by accidental introduction. Wolf moon rising next to Corno Grande and Pizzo Cefalone peaks (Gran Sasso d'Italia National Park) is seen from Tornimparte (L'Aquila), Italy, on January 25th, 2024. Wolf Moon is the initial full moon of the new year and derives its name from native Americans and the fact that January was the month when the howling of wolves became more intense. Additionally, due to the cold temperatures, this was also the time when these animals tended to approach villages more closely, resulting in their howls being heard more frequently. Corno Grande (mt 2912) is the highest peak of Apennines mountains.

The spotted dove (Spilopelia chinensis) is a small and somewhat long-tailed pigeon that is a common resident breeding bird across its native range on the Indian subcontinent and in Southeast Asia, and is found in woodland, scrub, farmland, and habitation. In India, it tends to be found in the moister regions, with the laughing dove (S. senegalensis) appearing more frequently in drier areas. Spotted doves are moving around in pairs or small groups as they forage on the ground for grass seeds, grains, fallen fruits, and seeds of other plants. The breeding season is spread out in warm regions but tends to be in summer in the temperate ranges. Here, spotted doves are performing mating dances, bowing, and making aerial displays in courtship in Tehatta, West Bengal, India on March 28th, 2023.

A view of Buzludzha Monument - the largest ideological monument of the Communist regime in Bulgaria. Built in 1981, it has a visual resemblance to the Olympic Stadium in Montreal. After the political changes of 1989, the building was abandoned and became a victim of theft, vandalism and harsh weather conditions, yet , the monument falls in the "Most Beautiful Abandoned Places in the World" ranking number 25, and in 2013 a similar ranking is ranked first. In 2018 the building was declared one of the 7 most endangered sites of cultural heritage in Europe in 2018 under the nomination of "The Buzludzha Project" Foundation. Due to the frequent incidents of climbers and more extreme tourists from this year the monument has a 24-hour armed guard and access to the interior of the monument is forbidden. Recently, many organizations and private individuals have been ambitious in organizing the restoration of the Buzludzha Monument and all communist symbols from the era of the communist regime in Bulgaria with the aim of popularizing them among Bulgarian and foreign tourists and turning them into one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.
