Several dozen people including teachers and union members are seen reallying in front of the Ministry of Education on April 6, 2019 in Warsaw, Poland. On Monday teachers across the country will strike in light of a refusal by the government to increase salaries amidst generous spending on other social reforms. The median income for teachers in Poland is less than 1000USD per month. The strike will be one of the largest in Poland since the fall of communism.
