Campaigners of 'Derniere Renovation' (ie 'Last Renovation') campaign blocked the entrance of the townhall of Toulouse, the Capitole before being dislodged by police. They want to raise awareness about the necessity to do energy-efficient renovation in private and public buildings. 'Derniere Renovation' argues it will reduce drastically emission of warming gas due to housing and heating, it will promote locally sourced jobs and lower ernergy bills for everyone. Emissions due to housing represent more than 20% of warming gas emitted by France. After 45 min of blockade policemen arrived and arrested all members of 'Derniere Renovation'.
