Indian army troopers carry the body on a stretcher from the debris of crashed Indian Air Force plane on February 27, 2019 in Budgam west of Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian administered Kashmir, India. An Indian Air Force jet crashed in Budgam district, killing six people including two pilots and a civilian, reports quoting police officials said. Debris of the jet, which crashed on Wednesday at around 10: 40 am was found in an open field. The pilot and a co-pilot died after they failed to eject safely before the jet crashed while a local resident identified as Kifayat Hussain who was present in the area at the time of the crash was also killed. Three other bodies recovered near the crash site are yet to recovered. Tensions have mounted in the region after India claimed to have struck alleged militant camps inside Pakistani territory on Tuesday in response to a suicide bombing attack in Pulwama while Pakistan Wednesday claimed to have shot down two intruding Indian fighter jets and capturing two pilots.
