A patterned pavement is pictured besides the Monument to the Discoveries (Padro dos Descobrimentos) in Belem, Lisbon, Portugal on November 27, 2019. The Portuguese sidewalk (Calada Portuguesa), dates back to the mid 19th century, it is a traditional-style sidewalk used in many of the country pedestrian areas and in former Portuguese colonies such as Macau and Brazil.
