A woman with a pin in the colors of the Ukrainian flag is seen at an observance for war victims in Warsaw, Poland on March 24, 2022. Several dozen people gathered in front of the Palace of Culture and Sciences in support of victims of Russian aggression. The word 'Children' has been painted in cyrillic letters on the pavement in from of the building in remembrence of the victims of the bombing of the theatre in Mariupol. The Mariupol threatre was bombed despite the word children being written in large letters visible from the air leading to the entrampment in the shelter of several hundred people.

Poland has taken in over 1.5 million refugees fleeing the Russian invasion of their country since February 24, 2022. In Warsaw alone the population has grown by nearly 20 percent as a result of the influx of refugeees. The pressure on resourdes has prompted the mayor of Warsaw, Rafal Trzaskowski to request support from the EU and the UN.

In this case 1600 black and white portraits of Poles who signed the manifesto by SEXED.pl, which aims to make sexual education accessible, are pasted in front of and on one of the roofs of the Palace of Culture. The portraits were made by renowned French artist JR and the initiative was in part organized by Poilsh model Anja Rubik.

That's roughly the volume of the city's iconic Palace of Cultur and Sciences. The device, created by Pawel Makowski has been installed in the southern Wilanow district near a park. According to Makowski we should be cleaning our air just as we clean our streets, windows and cars.
