A participant takes part in the 17th Christopher Street Day (CSD) parade in Cottbus, Germany, with the motto United in Peace and Diversity. Police escort the demonstration with reinforced units and estimate more than 800 participants, while around 90 right-wing counter-protesters gather nearby. Two individuals are removed for allegedly inciting criminal acts, and one dispersal order is issued. After several rainbow flags are vandalized the night before, organizers increase security and steward numbers, as a home match of Energie Cottbus takes place simultaneously in the city.
