After the peaceful protest, a group of black masked youths (Black Blocks) threw rocks, bottles and fireworks at the police, triggering a great deal of confusion. Some people were detained and press professionals were treated with truculence by the police, who threw pepper spray toward the cameras to prevent the recording of the images. A photographer was detained.
