Telugu people walk in the alleyway at the Telugu residential area in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on December 27, 2024. The Telugu community, the smallest in Dhaka city, faces significant challenges and is often referred to as 'sweepers' due to their essential role in sanitation work. They are also known as 'Horizon' or 'Dalito' as they live in densely populated colonies and share modest living spaces. Their daily lives center on sanitation work and water collection, with limited access to healthcare, financial resources, and education.
