November 17th, The Hague. Several Extinction Rebellion activists and with the help of playwright Maria Goos and Dutch actors Sieger Sloot and Michiel de Jongdemand carried out a disruptive action outside of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy building. The activists demand that fossil fuel subsidies stop immediately and in addition, the group demands the immediate release of the so-called Shell Papers. During the action, the activists tried to reach the building but they could not reach the building because of high police presence. The activists endend blocking the traffic, in front of the building. After a few hours, the police officers asked the group to move on but after they refused they were arrested.
