On the occasion of the World Day against Bayer-Monsanto, members of environmental associations such as Greenpeace, NVA COP 21 or Alternatiba demonstrated against the American company in Lyon, France, on May 18, 2019. A happening was carried out by activists disguised as bees and others as chemical diffusers to warn of the decline of bees and other insects due to plant health products. The happening was stopped by the police because it took place in an area prohibited from demonstrations by the prefecture.
