Flying a 13h long flight over the Atlantic with Turkish Airlines in Economy Class with Airbus A330-200 with the registration TC-JNC. Turkish Airlines is based in Istanbul and is one of the major global carriers, the airline is a Star Alliance member. Turkish Airlines operates 330 aircrafts and serves 302 destinations, most of them from their hubs in Istanbul Ataturk IST and Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen SAW airports, in Turkey. Turkish airlines is a legacy full service carrier. During the 13hours flight the airline offers 2 major meals from 2 or 3 selections each time, snacks, nuts, and sandwiches in between. Regularly they offer water bottles, tea or coffee. There is also a great variety in Turkish and French wines. In the seats there is always a blanket, pillow, high quality headphones and during the flight the crew is giving an amenity kit which includes socks, sleepers, eye shades, ear plugs, dental kit, lip balm. The seats are reclining about 6.5 inches and are quite comfort with legroom exceeding the 33 inches. The personal screen is quite large for economy, more than 9 inches and has a great variety of movies, tv shows, music, maps. Turkish Airlines uses Planet IFE There is also the option of paid wifi. Turkish airlines has also inflight magazine in the seat pocket along with the safety card, paper bag and various other printed editions. The seats are equipped with USB to charge your devices. Overall impression is a 5star product for a comfort long haul economy flight.
