A vehicle is striking Cove, a multi-story office building in Washington, D.C., United States, on July 9, 2024. At approximately 2:07 a.m., Tuesday morning, DC Fire and EMS, along with other agencies, are responding to a vehicle into a building on the 1600 block of Connecticut Ave. NW. Upon arrival at the scene, the vehicle is found overturned and unoccupied. Considerable damage to the ground level is observed, but there are no structural integrity issues according to officials. An extensive search of the area is finding no victims, and no injuries are reported.
