The program, initiated by the President of Ukraine, will allocate UAH 4 billion to support Ukrainian culture. The first stage, submission of applications, runs until June 12. A total of 2,634 applications were submitted by Ukrainian artists, with requested funding exceeding the allocated budget by 4.8 times. The largest number of applications (554) was submitted in the category of audiovisual shows and videos for social media. The event also marks the launch of the second stage of the initiative. The largest number of applications (554) was submitted in the category of audiovisual shows and videos for social media. The event also marks the launch of the second stage of the initiative. From June 17 to July 28, experts will evaluate projects and select those eligible for state funding. Winners of the Thousand Springs initiative are expected to be announced in August, with funding for approved projects scheduled between September and December 2026.
